Eric Marter is a Senior Director at Bully Pulpit International (BPI), where he operates at the intersection of reputation, politics, and public policy. He specializes in translating complex policy and technical landscapes into clear, human-centered narratives that drive measurable impact.
At BPI, Eric has led national public affairs campaigns across a diverse portfolio – from semiconductor manufacturing and international crises to education and at-home delivery during the COVID-19 pandemic. He works with emerging industries to build trust with federal stakeholders, bridging the gap between responsible regulation and cutting-edge American innovation.
In 2024, Eric helped direct battleground communications for Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign in New Hampshire, overseeing statewide messaging, media strategy, and surrogate operations. Previously, he served on the press team for U.S. Senator Maria Cantwell (D-WA), supporting her work on the Senate Commerce and Energy committees. Before that, he held roles in the Office of First Lady Michelle Obama at the White House and at NBC News’ Meet the Press.
A Colorado native and graduate of George Washington University, Eric has traveled to all 50 U.S. states and more than 50 countries. This global perspective informs his approach to navigating complex challenges in a deeply connected world.
