Emily Field drives technology-focused corporate affairs, public affairs and policy communications across Fortune 500 companies, non-profits and startups. With a decade of experience in technology, AI and cybersecurity, she has deep roots in defense and national security, K-12 + higher education, and the future of work, healthcare and life sciences, energy and infrastructure, and financial services. A Bay Area native, Emily combines her deep knowledge of the innovation economy into strategies that safeguard brand reputation, mitigate risk and drive measurable value for clients. Her cross-sectional approach sits between traditional corporate affairs and government affairs, focusing on core decision-makers across the public and private sectors, including the Administration, Congress, federal and state agencies, state and local delegations, B2B + B2C players, and the public at large.

‍Emily has helped clients navigate their most crucial moments, from appropriations cycles to contract negotiations to Congressional testimony to M&A. Her work has elevated clients like Intel, McAfee, and the University of Arizona on the national stage as experts on foundational and emerging tech issues, including agentic AI, cloud and data center infrastructure, semiconductor manufacturing, robotics, autonomous vehicles, election security, deepfakes, privacy regulation and ransomware. Prior to BPI, Emily launched the public affairs practice at Mission North and was a tenured public affairs leader at RH Strategic.

She began her career in corporate and public affairs in Washington D.C. after graduating from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana with a B.A. in Political Science and Communications. Outside of work, Emily is an avid traveler and can often be found exploring the California coastline.
