Dave Whiting

David Whiting is a senior corporate affairs and communications strategist who advises leaders operating at the intersection of business, reputation, policy, and technology. As Partner at Bully Pulpit International (BPI), he counsels C-suite executives and organization leaders through complex growth, transformation, and public affairs challenges.

Prior to joining BPI, David served as Executive Vice President, General Manager, and Boston Market Lead for Weber Shandwick, where he directed a team of more than 80 communications, marketing, and creative professionals while driving corporate advisory work across The Weber Shandwick Collective’s global network.

Earlier in his career, David spent 12 years at Edelman, where he served as Global Chief Operating Officer of Edelman Business Marketing, overseeing B2B operations across the Americas, EMEA, and Asia-Pacific. He also founded Edelman’s U.S. CommsTech practice, pioneering the deployment of AI and emerging technologies to drive precision, data-driven stakeholder campaigns.

David began his career in Washington, D.C., spending a decade as a public affairs strategist and lobbyist advising corporate clients, political campaigns, and foreign governments on high-stakes policy initiatives. Recognized as a industry thought leader, he is a member of the Arthur W. Page Society and was named one of PRWeek’s 25 most influential people in CommsTech. He holds a B.A. in American Studies from Wesleyan University.
