Jo-ann Robertson commences role as President, Europe at BPI Group
March 3, 2026
BPI Group, the global strategic communications and advisory agency, today confirms that Jo-ann Robertson has officially taken up her role as President, Europe and Transatlantic Growth Leader.
Based in London, Robertson joins BPI Group following her 14-year tenure at Ketchum, most recently serving as CEO, Global Markets. Her arrival marks a significant milestone in BPI’s international expansion, as she takes the lead on the firm’s European growth strategy.
In this newly created role, Robertson will focus on scaling BPI’s integrated campaign model — combining data-driven strategy and political intelligence with creative execution — to help clients navigate an increasingly volatile global landscape.
As part of BPI Group’s global executive leadership team, Robertson will play a key role in shaping the agency’s strategic direction, growing current client relationships, and developing new key European clients for all markets.
Jo-ann Robertson, President, Europe and Transatlantic Growth Leader, BPI Group, commented: “I’m joining BPI with a clear ambition: to build a new breed of professional consultancy designed for the complexity of modern business. Our research shows that over half of UK consumers are now primed to believe misinformation — a trend that is even more acute across continental Europe. In an era where negative narratives can erase billions in market value in an instant, leaders need more than traditional advice; they need the agility of a campaign matched with world-class strategic depth. I’m thrilled to officially join the team as we accelerate this next chapter of bold growth.”
Robertson’s first week in post includes a BPI breakfast event on Thursday 5 March, where she will join Founder and CEO Andrew Bleeker and Senior Advisor Guto Harri, former Director of Communications at No. 10 under Boris Johnson, to share perspectives on decision-making, narrative, and influence in the current business environment.
Andrew Bleeker, CEO and Founder of BPI Group, added: “Jo-ann’s appointment underlines our vision and commitment as we accelerate BPI’s growth globally. Her arrival signals the next chapter in our drive to disrupt the traditional advisory market. Our research shows that in a climate of persistent mistrust, strong executive leadership is one of the most powerful shields for a brand’s reputation. Jo-ann is the perfect fit to advise how to build that resilience and deliver the industry-leading work BPI is renowned for.”
Jeremy Galbraith, CEO Europe of BPI Group, said: “The European business landscape is currently defined by a unique intersection of regulatory shifts and competing political pressures. To lead in this environment, clients need a partner capable of bridging developments between London, Brussels, and beyond. We have built a pan-European platform that pairs deep local intelligence with a campaign-led mindset, which allows our clients to move at pace. Jo-ann’s counsel will be instrumental as we help the region’s leaders navigate fragmentation and turn complexity into a distinct competitive advantage.”
Robertson previously held various leadership positions at Ketchum, including CEO of Ketchum UK (2017) and Deputy CEO of Ketchum UK (2015). She initially joined the Omnicom firm in 2011 as UK MD of corporate and public affairs, following an eight-year tenure at Weber Shandwick. In 2023 Robertson was recognised for her industry leadership as the president of the PR Lions jury at the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity, and was most recently named to the Women in Leadership Power List 2025 by Management Today.
BPI Group has acquired BOLDT, Message House, and Seven Hills in Europe, and appointed former White House Communications Director, Ben LaBolt, as Global President in April 2025.
