Derek Pearce

Derek Pearce is a Director in the speechwriting and executive communications practice at Bully Pulpit International (BPI). He has over 15 years of experience writing for high profile political candidates, organizations, and corporate executives, helping them to deliver engaging, message-driven written and social content.

Prior to joining BPI, Derek worked in Digital Communications on the presidential election campaigns of Joe Biden in 2020 and Hillary for America (HFA) in 2016. He previously worked on Capitol Hill, and served as the speechwriter for the Chair of the Democratic National Committee (DNC).

Derek currently lives with his wife and son in San Francisco.
