Elizabeth Bohnel

Elizabeth is Senior Director of Events and Editorial at Bully Pulpit International (BPI), where she leads A Day of Unreasonable Conversation and other convenings that use the power of culture to drive real-world change. In this role, she develops and drives the long‑term strategy for BPI’s cultural convening work, translating flagship moments and events into an ecosystem of partnerships, content, and community engagement opportunities.

With 20 years of experience across live events and broadcast, she has produced flagship events with brands including MAKERS, Yahoo, Global Citizen, Lesbians Who Tech, Grace Hopper, and All Raise, designing programs that spotlight trailblazing voices and drive meaningful conversations around equity, inclusion, and social impact. Across these platforms, she has led initiatives with senior executives, funders, and high‑profile talent—shaping editorial frames, managing complex talent pipelines, and building systems that deliver seamless, high‑impact live experiences from conception, using storytelling to bring magic into the room while creating a seamless behind‑the‑scenes experience.

Examples of her work range from producing a No. 1 Billboard hit for Michelle Obama’s Let Girls Learn initiative to producing a YouTube series with more than 64 million views, pairing creative ambition with real‑world reach.

Originally from Minnesota, she studied TV Production and Media Studies at the University of Wisconsin, Madison and splits her time between Nashville and New York with her dog, Princey.
