Ashley Blum is a Director of Data Science on the Insights team at Bully Pulpit International (BPI), where she brings her expertise in research design, statistics, survey methodology, and causal inference to help organizations measure the impact of their campaigns, target audiences effectively, and make data-driven strategic decisions.
Prior to joining BPI, Ashley completed a PhD in political science at UCLA and worked as a post-doctoral associate at MIT, where she specialized in political communication and comparative politics, developing complex surveys and experiments to understand how people select and engage with mass media and the relationship to politics. She then worked as a research scientist on the Demography and Survey Sciences team at Meta.
Ashley lives in Atlanta with her husband and their dog, Lena. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, climbing, and skiing.
