New York City
Katie Cronen is a Partner at Bully Pulpit International (BPI) who has built a career helping clients at Fortune 500 companies and leading organizations answer a deceptively simple question: “What should we say?”
Her expertise lies in taking thorny challenges when the stakes are high, the competition is plentiful, and the topic is complicated or controversial, and turning them into clear, compelling messaging strategies that change how people think and behave. After moderating hundreds of focus groups and interviews with audiences ranging from policy wonks to pig farmers, she understands what makes people nod along versus roll their eyes.
Katie’s work spans communications and marketing research, narrative and message development, reputation and issues response, executive and employee communications and storytelling.
Prior to joining BPI, Katie was a Partner at Carter Intelligence Group, where she advised organizations on message strategy, audience understanding and complex communications challenges. Earlier, she spent 15 years at maslansky + partners, working with major companies and organizations on communications strategy, framing and reputation.
Katie is known for putting her Psychology degree to practical use, her sought-after strategic counsel, and her healthy sense of humor. She lives in New Jersey with her husband and son.
