Zoe Sheppard is a Director at Bully Pulpit International (BPI), where she brings nearly a decade of communications and public relations experience on Capitol Hill and in advocacy to help clients connect with their key audiences and break through in today’s crowded media landscape.
Before joining BPI, Zoe served as Communications Director and Senior Advisor for Congresswoman Susie Lee (D-NV), where she planned and executed strategic communications campaigns on subjects ranging from COVID relief to health care to infrastructure.
Prior to her time on Capitol Hill, Zoe served as Deputy Press Secretary at Everytown for Gun Safety, where she led communications for the organization’s grassroots network of volunteers. Zoe began her communications career at BerlinRosen in the Issue Advocacy practice, where she worked with clients on a variety of issues, including energy and the environment, reproductive rights, democracy, and more.
Zoe graduated from UCLA with a degree in Political Science. A Birmingham, AL, native, Zoe now resides in Chicago. In her free time, Zoe enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants, and cheering on the UCLA Bruins.
