Loren Mullen
Director
Loren Mullen is a Director at Bully Pulpit International (BPI) where he focuses on integrated marketing, reputation, and public affairs campaigns for non-profit, advocacy, political, and Fortune clients. Loren brings over a decade of digital media and communications experience to solve challenges across finance, energy, environment, healthcare, technology, and public policy.
Loren’s work at BPI spans campaigns for over 30 clients including Instacart, Patagonia, Exelon, Nuclear Energy Institute, Working Forests Initiative, Goldman Sachs, Luminary, Democratic National Committee, Secure Community Network, and more. He is also a co-founder of the BPI Veterans Employee Resource Group (ERG).
Before joining BPI, Loren served as Digital Director to Senator Jeff Merkley (OR) where he led multi-channel digital strategy, rapid-response communications, and creative development in support of the Senator’s legislative and constituent-service agenda, and as a graphic designer for Congressional campaigns.
Loren is also a commissioned Public Affairs Officer in the United States Navy Reserve.
Loren is originally from Long Beach, CA, and holds a bachelor’s in history and marketing from California State University Long Beach. Outside of work, Loren is usually cooking, adventuring outdoors, or training for a long-distance run having completed six marathons. He is based out of Washington, DC.
