Carahna Batiste is a Creative Director at Bully Pulpit International (BPI), where she focuses on leading creative development and production of the design team.
As former White House Creative Director and Deputy Design Director for Joe Biden’s 2020 Presidential campaign, Carahna is an award-winning, multi-disciplinary creative with a proven track record for developing political campaigns that deliver winning results. Credited as one of the critical reasons “Biden’s design team helped defeat Trump,” Carahna creates distinct, powerful, and unique creative that sets campaigns apart and helps candidates get elected. She has built a reputation as a design thinker with a talent for inspiring change and advocating for real social impact within companies on behalf of vulnerable and underrepresented communities.
Before joining Biden’s 2020 Presidential campaign, Carahna worked at Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, Inc. for five years. She worked alongside CBCF’s highest executives to further their mission to advance the global Black community by developing leaders and informing public policy through her work in events, design production, and marketing communication. In this role, she was responsible for leading CBCF’s creative team of designers, videographers, printers, show producers, and product vendors. In addition, Carahna provided direct counsel to the President and CEO in a critical time during the company’s internal leadership transitions over two years. In this time, she also worked for many diverse small business companies to develop their brands in a quickly-evolving digital environment.
Carahna earned a bachelor’s degree in art & design from Howard University and lives in Washington, D.C., with her husband and son.
